Kathmandu, May 12: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of the leader of the ruling CPN-UML, Pashupati Chaulagain.
Issuing a statement today, Prime Minister Oli extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
He was the CPN (UML) politburo member and was elected the member of the Bagmati Province Assembly from Dolakha ‘Kha’ constituency. He was elected to the member of the House of Representatives in the general election of 2056 BS from Dolakha constituency no 1.
Similarly, Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Parbat Gurung, has paid last respects to CPN (UML) leader and member of the Bagmati Province Assembly, the late Pashupati Chaulagain.
Minister Gurung went to the Manmohan Memorial Hospital this morning and paid his tribute by draping Chaulagain’s mortal remains with the national flag.
Leader Chaulagain passed away due to COVID-19 on Tuesday night.
