May 14, Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has extended best wishes to all Nepali Muslim brothers and sisters at home and abroad for peace, prosperity and happiness on the occasion of Eid Ul Fitr festival marked by the Muslim community.
In a message of best wishes today, President Bhandari has expressed the belief that the festival would further harmonize and extend the fraternity and brotherhood among all Nepalis.
President Bhandari has said that the festival marked in different parts of the country including is the symbol of cultural and social diversity of the country.
She said, “Such unity in diversity strengthens Nepali nationality.”
The President has further appealed to mark the festival following health protocol issued by the government in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
