Government will leave no stone unturned to contain Covid-19: PM Oli

Kathmandu, May 14: PM KP Sharma Oli says the government has been working to ensure necessary beds, doctors and equipment for the effective treatment and care of corona patients across the country.

Assuming his office at Sigh Durbar today, PM Oli directed the Deputy PM, Ministers and High government officials to ensure all the necessary medicines, doctors and equipment in all hospital for the treatment of covid-19.

He also directed all to get mobilized using available state resources effectively to address the present crisis saying the government has been working to mitigate the effect of the corona pandemic.

PM Oli also directed the official to take stern actions against all those who were indulged in corruption event at the time of crisis on human existence.

Urging all oxygen plants, to work in their full capacity and the hospitals to work with the sentiment of services, PM Oli vowed to work on behalf of people and the country.

Earlier, President Bidhya Devi Bhandari had administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed PM KP Sharma Oli amidst a programme at Sheetal Niwas today.

After taking oath of office and secretary today, the PM has continued with his earlier cabinet. President Bhandari also administered the oath of office to the new appointed DPM and ministers. Likewise, PM KP Sharma Oli administered the oath office to the newly appointed state ministers.

The newly appointed ministers have also assumed the office today itself.

Assuming his office at Singh Durbar, DPM Pokhrel said now the government would remain totally focused on treatment of corona patients.

He said the government would now focus on managing equipment, medicines and boosting the morale of health professionals.

Also assuming his office at Finance Ministry today, Minister Paudel said the budget formulation is at final phase and vowed to formulate a budget that revives and gears up the economy marred by corona pandemic.

He also promised to make the government effort to fight corona pandemic more effective.

While assuming office on Friday, Finance Minister Paudel also approved the decision to provide 58.32 million rupees to Dadeldhura Hospital, Patan Health Science Academy and Bheri Hospital for setting up oxygen plant and necessary pipe lines.

Likewise, assuming the office today, Communication and Information technology Minister Parbat Gurung said he would remain committed to the PM’s dream of national prosperity.

He also said at the time of crisis across the world, all should get untied forgetting the past and face the present crisis.

He further said several strategic plans had been forwarded during his tenure in the ministry and he had been appointed for the continuation for the same.
