May 24, Kathmandu: Hetauda Hospital has started oxygen production from Sunday.
The Hospital has said that the oxygen plant set up by the hospital has the capacity to produce 15 filled oxygen cylinders on a daily basis against its demand for over 100 filled cylinders.
Meanwhile, the construction of an oxygen plant with a production capacity of 150 filled oxygen cylinders daily is underway.
Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City Chief says it has been supplying oxygen to Makawanpur district from Itahari and Nuwakot to meet the demands for the life-saving oxygen,
The Hospital said a total of 54 COVID-19 infected persons were undergoing treatment at the hospital run by the Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences.
